Ok, well as this is a love story; for that extra added bit of corney....errr we mean romantic, We will write it just as it is...... Once upon a time there was a woman named Ruth who never believed in love, nor would she let anyone in with barriers made of steel to protect her heart. She had been battling the last of the dragons and through those battles she had found her value, strength and courage. She needed to learn these so she could began the real love story that started first with loving herself. She learnt to be still, she learnt to listen deeply to her own voice, she rested, wrote, painted and made music. She made time for herself, she ate well, watered, exercised her mind and body and she reconnected into her spiritual energy. Ruth was a woman of magic and who knew how the magic of manifestation worked. One evening she was sat in prayer when she decided to do a spell. A spell on love with another. She had stated that she felt ready to fall in love. Something he had never done before. This inolved certain coloured candles, a list, mantras and music. She stated to the universe with her head and heart in choherance that she was done fighting old dragons and was ready to find her Pirate. So she wrote down what her Pirate would be like. She knew that when you talk to the universe you have to be specific and this list was long, weaving in and out all of the things she invisioned her pirate to be, every detail was included! From tattoos, to having his own children and who would love her children as his own. He had to be funny, kind, strong and romantic, a builder, musican, artist with a phycological mind. Someone spiritual who loved yoga, reiki, science, quantrum physics, who loved to travel and of course, sailing Her list was very specific. She did not really expect to meet this man and was feeling content and happy on her own. But she was making the statement to the universe and herself that this was what she wanted if a relationship was to arise. She was beyond bored of fighting old dragons and her life was going to take a turn for the better! Being at this level of not needing anything or anyone but knowing what she wanted, writing it down, saying it out loud and feeling it is a powerful spell and place to be. Head and heart in full choereance and compleatly surrendering. In her candle work she asked for a name and the melted candle showed a letter D. She couldnt think of anyone with the letter D. She burnt the paper in the flames and thought nothing more of it. One week later................. Cold on a bench in Falmouth in Cornwall, opposite the wild ocean and wrapped up with her dog called Pig, She waited to meet up with an acquaintance, someone she had never met before, a counsellor that she wanted to pick his brains about his therapies. His name was Dominic. Ruth was about to start training/volenteering as a beareavment counseller. Arriving in his building work clothes, with beautiful art work tattooed on his body they spoke of spirituality, science, yoga, healing, art, music...everything but counselling. Who is this man? A few weeks passed and she was yet to tell him her story about The Pirate until she noticed a pirate tattoo on his chest. Infact nearly all of his tattoos at the time were nautical but this one stood out. He loved to sail and had a sailing boat, was a yoga and reiki teacher, a builder, had three beautiful children, had three degrees in counselling/psychology, Philsophy and Fine Arts. He was a musican, Loved science and had travelled extensively around the world researching many different cultures and spiritual belief systems. This man had ticked everything off her list and more... Fairy tales arent real surely? During a conversation, Ruth brought up her dream of one day having a retreat where she could help others. Dominic went on to explain how two years before he, along with his friend was about to buy a ship. This ships masts had broken and was replaced by the ship from the movie The Black Pearl as they were breaking her. They were looking to buy her to turn her into a therapy ship to help others. Showing her photos and pointing to the name of the ship. She is called Ruth. What was the chances!? He then went on to explain his family connection to Lord Nelson on his mothers family line and his spiritual reading that he had recorded many years before saying that he would one day meet and spend the rest of his life with a women called Ruth. From then on her and The Pirate fell madly in love and created a life of love, respect and truth. Their hearts soothed and their souls came alive and her days of fighting old dragons were over as they sailed away into the distance to live happily ever after.... Well sort of...... Ha!! Our dream to help people learn that they too can live a full and thriving life by making a few changes. It doesnt matter what your back ground is or where you are today. At any point you can change things for the better. Learning about maifesation and that life happens 'Through you, not to you'. Empowering men and women to know and love themselves and that everything is possible. From the young girl who once wandered the streets alone with no where to live, to her struggles with alcohol, abandonment and toxic relationships the life lived today felt compleatley impossible. From the young man who was brought up with no father and a mother whos mental health was in such a bad way that she had stopped feeding and looking after him as a baby, feeling absolute rejection, he grew to become a strong, kind and open minded man with the biggest hearts and who both want to use their experiances within the world that they see as perfectly broken so we can learn to find ourselves once again. Changing lifes perspectives, Living a life of truth, Learning healthy boundries, Soberiety, Learning to really listen to yourself, Stepping into your fear, Finding out what kind of person you really are and then living the life designed for you is all completely and utterly possible. Ruth and Dominic speak opening about their lives with the hope that their stories will help to inspire someone that anything is possible. All above is true story........
